Strengthen Your Sobriety

What could be better than spending TWO WHOLE DAYS with Veronica and Chip, learning what it takes to make your sobriety truly sustainable, and creating a solid plan to make it happen?

(Maybe being able to do that without having to travel to London at a time when travel still feels a little iffy?)

We can't meet in person, so we're bringing the Soberful Retreat to YOU!

Chip and I like to do a LIVE event each summer, but with the current state of the pandemic still up in the air, we decided that we’re going to bring the retreat to YOU this time.

All you need is:

An internet connection.

A strong desire that your sobriety will finally become all that you hope it can be.

Willingness to do the “inside work” of sobriety—looking at what’s going on in your internal world while also making external changes that stick and keep you on track.

A cozy space for you to participate with little or no interruption so that you can get the most out of our work together.

Your calendar cleared for Friday and Saturday May 7 – 8 from 10am – 3pm EDT (3pm – 8pm UK).

Friday and Saturday, May 7 – 8

10am – 3pm EDT (3pm – 8pm UK)

Two days of transformational work that establishes the 5 pillars of sustainable sobriety in your daily life. Everything you need to make your sobriety the best it can be.

Improve these areas of your life with the 5 Pillars of Sustainable Sobriety

Learn how to be deliberate in moving your body as a powerful sobriety tool. Then, become conscious of the movement of your life’s direction.

Work to create a meaningful connection with at least one person who you know in real life, all while nurturing a real connection to yourself.

Discover the secret of balance, and how it remains at the center of any difficulty you encounter. Learn how to ‘check your balance’ on a regular basis, and adjust as needed.

Your emotions are data. Avoiding emotions is the number one reason people relapse. Learn how to process emotions so that you’re not learning the same lessons again and again.

We are either growing or dying. Growth is uncomfortable, by design. Learn to use it as an opportunity to be a better version of yourself and create a life you love.

Here's What You Get:

We will show you how to work the 5 pillars of sustainable sobriety using specific exercises designed to help you understand and apply what you learn.

Clear blocks, end self-sabotage and make sobriety feel easy and sustainable all by focusing on the one thing that will make the biggest impact—YOU.

Understand that there is more to stopping drinking than simply stopping drinking. Once you shift your focus to the real work of sobriety, everything else can more easily fall into place.

Use the workbook to come back to this foundational work anytime you need it. The workbook is based on Veronica’s upcoming book, Soberful.

The sessions will be recorded and yours to keep forever so that you can rewatch them anytime you need a reboot.

Begin a Soberful Life.

By the end of the retreat, you’ll understand what it takes for your sobriety to sustain itself. That’s when you get to the point when you no longer have to think about drinking or not drinking.

You will learn the life-changing skills you need to get to that place and stay there.

Meet Your Coaches

Veronica Valli is changing the narrative on sobriety. With 20 years in recovery and 19 years’ experience as a recovery coach and psychotherapist, she understands that there is no ONE path to recovery.

Author of books Why You Drink and How to Stop, Get Sober Get Free, and upcoming Soberful (to be published by Sounds True), and co-host of the Soberful Podcast, Veronica has helped thousands of women not only recover from alcohol, but also transform their lives.

Veronica teaches that alcohol is not the problem—it’s only a symptom of a deeper underlying problem. She helps women dig deep, embrace change, and become who they are meant to be. “I help you reveal yourself to yourself,” she says.

Veronica works with women all over the world through her successful and innovative online recovery programs. Now based in the US after relocating from the UK, she is married and lives in Lake Tahoe, NV with her husband and two sons.

Chip Somers is a successful psychotherapist with a practice in Harley Street, London. He has run several rehabilitation centers throughout his 33-year career. He deals with people who have tried to sort themselves out but need that extra bit of input to help them get better and get through the mess they are in.

Chip has been instrumental in many people's recovery from alcohol and drug abuse. In particular, Russell Brand dedicates a whole chapter to Chip in his new book Mentors: How to Help and Be Helped. Chip is married with two adult children. He has been continuously sober since 1985.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re here, you understand that you still need to do the work that’s required to achieve sustainable sobriety. We use our experience to give you the knowledge and skills you need—it’s up to you to do the work. We will help you establish that work in this 2-day retreat.

We believe that sobriety is like a seesaw and that you need to keep putting weight on the sober end. The more weight (information, knowledge, and support) on the sober end means that eventually your sobriety will become embedded. Please note, this is not a ‘getting sober’ program, it’s a program for people who want to deeply commit to a sober life by doing the deeper work.

The truth is, we all have struggles. Even if alcohol is no longer a thought in your mind, it’s likely that there are difficult areas in your life that you’d love to improve. Everyone can benefit from establishing the 5 pillars of sustainable sobriety. That’s what we focus on in this 2-day retreat.

Before signing up for this program we encourage you to do due diligence and research the facilitators so you can feel confident in their skills and abilities. We limit the numbers of this program so when someone commits we hold them to that commitment and have a non-refundable policy.
