“I joined the Soberful Foundations group early on in my sobriety. I had tried and slipped several times previously. The Foundations program was very focused and it felt a very safe container to be open, vulnerable, and to reach out when needed. I would recommend it to anyone starting the journey to sobriety as it will give you the tools to deal with situations and triggers. It will also help you to find the root cause of your alcohol abuse and show how to move forward."

Sobriety Like Never Before

Here’s what the Foundations of Sobriety program can do for you:

  • When cravings sneak back in, you’ll know just what to do to ensure they don’t overcome you, freeing you from the hold alcohol has had over you.
  • When emotions run high (or low), you’ll learn how to ride the waves rather than letting them crash your boat (or get you carried away).
  • When the stress of life feels overwhelming, you’ll have tools to ground you, balance you, and give you a sense of purpose and direction.
  • When your limiting beliefs take over, you’ll recognize them and instead begin to use a growth mindset to free you from damaging thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
  • When loneliness sinks in, you’ll learn to reach out to others—even though it feels vulnerable—rather than withdrawing because you know that’s what real courage looks like.
  • When you feel like you’re missing out on all the fun, excitement, connection, belonging, and relaxation that you *think* alcohol brought you, you’ll quickly recognize those as the lies alcohol has “promised” you, and you’ll develop a new set of activities and behaviors that show you how you can truly achieve all of that, and more, by being sober.
  • When relationships erode, you’ll know how to reconnect with your values, create firm boundaries, and remember that you are not responsible for others’ actions and behaviors—so you stop taking things personally and feel the freedom that comes from that.

We work on all of this and so much more inside Foundations of Sobriety.

We are faced with a unique opportunity to create meaning in our lives right now when everything around us is unsettled.

Are you up for it?

“I decided to join Foundations of Sobriety to connect with other people seeking long-term sobriety and to learn new skills that support this path. Veronica and Chip have decades of experience that allows them to guide the group in a productive manner each session.

The program helped me identify some of my limiting beliefs, provided more confidence and courage, and connected me in a personal way with others in the group. I have been able to continue the growth on my own, especially following with 1-1 interview. I am now better prepared to continue growing and facing fears, and to imagine so many other possibilities of what life can bring in sobriety.”

“I stopped drinking, and more importantly, the obsessive desire to drink was gone. I have the freedom and ability to deal with things as they come up, instead of living in constant shame and fear dulled by alcohol.

—Emma, 32

What to Expect

This 5-month program gives you all the tools you need to establish a strong foundation for your sobriety so that you know what to do, and when to do it when certain triggers in your life get in the way of your success.

Early-Bird Bonus Session

If you join Foundations of Sobriety early, you get access to a bonus coaching session with Veronica on Thursday, May 20 at 1 pm EST (6 pm UK). In this bonus session, you will make a commitment to yourself and the person you want to be, get clear on your values, and begin the journey to return to yourself.

9 Modules

Each module covers a different area of your life and sobriety, building on the last module so that you can create a rock-solid foundation for your sobriety no matter what life throws at you. We’ll spend time integrating what we learn in our daily lives as we go, and you’ll get an opportunity for coaching during the weekly coaching calls.

Practical Applications

(Okay, it’s “homework,” but it’s enjoyable!) You’ll take practical actions every week to help reinforce what you’re learning and make new habits and guiding principles a reality in your life.

Online Community

Private access to an online community (off Facebook!) where you can share your challenges, wins, and growth with like-minded individuals who are on the same path. Get feedback when you need it, with the option to remain anonymous.

What We Cover

We’ll establish a clear intention from the start, helping you to make the choice to keep “putting weight on the sober end” of the seesaw that is your life. We’ll discuss how to get and stay sober safely, and what to look forward to in the months to come.

Learn how to use boundaries to keep you safe and sober. Discover which areas in your life need boundary adjustments and work on refining them so you have space to do the inner work of sobriety.

Discover the patterns that keep showing up in relationships, why sometimes you struggle with connection and intimacy. How to break out of dysfunctional cycles and toxic relationships.

Fear, worry, stress, anxiety—we all face it in different ways, and it can make our lives very small. Learn how to free yourself from the grip fear has over you.

Guilt and shame are two difficult emotions that play a massive part in our drinking.⁣⁣ Develop tools to filter out the harmful toxic shame you’ve been carrying.

Learn what limiting beliefs are, how to identify your own limiting beliefs, and how to change them so you can overcome the negative patterns that keep you stuck.

We tend to get in our own way of success sometimes. This module will focus on identifying your self-sabotaging behaviors and habits and interrupting those patterns so they no longer hold you back.

We all have subconscious habits, but how can we shift to having more conscious habits—those that we deliberately carry out to improve our lives and well-being? You’ll build these habits now.

“Working with Veronica changed my life. She helped me find the tools to begin to heal and create a picture of a full beautiful life in sobriety. On one of our first calls, she told me that my life could be in full color. I didn't believe her but today I can honestly say that sobriety is beyond anything I could have ever imagined when I reached out to her on that dark January day. Veronica took my hand, stood by my side, and rooted me on when I didn't know what to do next and thought I had to go at it alone.

Her words, inspiration, and tools are engraved in my heart and I go back to them over and over again to find strength, understanding, and a way forward. I am so grateful to have had her guidance and support as I began on one of the most difficult journeys of my life. I am forever grateful for Veronica and her work.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Group coaching is a very effective way to achieve transformational growth. We often feel that we are alone and cannot see a clear way to move forward. In reality, the challenges we struggle with are actually very common. This group will be hand-picked to ensure it is a safe-supportive space. Guided and supported by Veronica, who will ensure you gain the tools you need to grow and change. Group coaching is much more affordable than individual coaching.

The group coaching calls will be recorded and available to view for about 7 days. This is to ensure that everyone stays up to date if they happen to miss a session.

If you are here reading this now, it’s because you have followed Chip and Veronica’s work. You know our experience and qualifications (see below), and you know we are both in long-term sobriety. You will also know that we are qualified and experienced professionals. You may have also been searching for a while and may have tried different things to enhance your sobriety that didn’t help as much as you wanted them to. If you have the willingness, then we have the tools and experience to move you forward.

We believe that sobriety is like a seesaw and that you need to keep putting weight on the sober end. The more weight (information, knowledge and support) on the sober end means that eventually your sobriety will become embedded. Please note, this is not a ‘getting sober’ program, it’s a program for people who want to deeply commit to a sober life by doing the deeper emotional work.

The truth is, we all have struggles. Even if alcohol is no longer a thought in your mind, it’s likely that there are difficult areas in your life that you’d love to improve. Everyone can benefit from mindset work. The real work in alcohol recovery has to do with all the underlying issues we face on a day-to-day basis. If you want to improve your relationships, parenting, and career, or if you’re unsure of your purpose in life, Foundations of Sobriety can help.

Every session will be recorded, so you will be able to access the videos after they occur.

Foundations of Sobriety is a 5-month immersion. You will have access to the community and course materials for six months after the course finishes.

Before signing up for this program we encourage you to do due diligence and research the facilitators so you can feel confident in their skills and abilities. We limit the numbers of this program so when someone commits we hold them to that commitment and have a non-refundable policy.
