Empowered Soberful Women

5-month sober coaching program for women who are empowered to thrive in sobriety even when life is hard

The Empowered Soberful Women coaching program is carefully designed to help you dismantle the thinking and behavior that has been holding you back from living up to the aspirations you have for yourself.

It’s all about achieving emotional sobriety or learning to effectively deal with your emotions and feelings.

emotional sobriety: feeling comfortable in our skin and managing our emotions

Getting sober has not been easy, but you know it’s worth it.

At least, you hope so. Yet, you’re still struggling to get to that place in sobriety that everyone says is so wonderful.

Hint: You’re not alone.

Emotional sobriety doesn’t just materialize out of nowhere. It takes a bit of work. And some keen direction from experts who have been there and know the way out.

An Empowered soberful woman:

Has boundaries.

Knows her worth.

Feels excited about life.

Is free from the pressure to drink.

Knows how to have FUN without drinking.

Has appropriate emotional responses to events.

Navigates relationships with ease and confidence.

Feels like what she does and who she is, is good enough.

No longer locks away her emotions until they explode, or overreacts to every little thing that goes wrong.

Manages emotions with a “toolbox” of practices (instead of with alcohol).

Is becoming the parent/partner/friend she longs to be.

Feels motivated and excited to find her purpose.

Feels understood and supported—not judged.

Is free of the good and bad opinion of others.

Learns and grows from her mistakes.

Loves who she is becoming.

Imagine letting go of the shame you’ve built up from past behaviors. Imagine going through all this with a small group of women just like you. Imagine sobriety as your superpower.

You don’t have to walk around feeling like you’re not getting it right or like you’re missing out on something. We’ll work on all of this and so much more inside Empowered Soberful Women.

Life is short. It’s time to make every day count.

What We Cover

Learn how to use boundaries to keep you safe and sober. Discover which areas in your life need boundary adjustments and work on refining them so you have space to do the inner work of sobriety.

Understand what it means to create balance in your life in a way that meets your needs as you become the person you long to be.

Fear, worry, stress, anxiety—we all face it in different ways, and it can make our lives very small. Learn how to free yourself from the grip fear has over you.

Self-esteem maintains our mental health and well-being. You’ll learn how to replace poor self-esteem with healthy self-esteem as a way to help your recovery.

To have thriving relationships with others requires that you have a healthy relationship with yourself. This is where we start. Then, we learn ways to navigate difficult relationships, as well as ways to work on deepening beneficial relationships.

We all have resentments. Some are big traumas and others are small annoyances that build up day to day. Instead of suppressing them, we learn to lean into them and work through it.

Learn why women use food to soothe (just like we used alcohol), and how connecting with your body is the foundation for healing your relationship with food.

Women’s hormonal health can have a big impact on your recovery. Learn about your own hormonal health, and how you can navigate sobriety more effectively during different life stages.

At the end, we consolidate everything you’ve learned into an empowering experience that carries you through the coming weeks, months, and years of living a Soberful life.

Meet Your Coaches

Veronica Valli is a psychotherapist, recovery coach, level two EFT (emotional freedom technique) practitioner, MASC life coach, author of books Why You Drink and How to Stop and Get Sober Get Free, and cohost of the Soberful Podcast. She has been in recovery for 20 years and has been working as a recovery coach and therapist for 18 years.

Veronica passionately believes that anyone can recover from alcohol if they are given the right tools and support. She has personally helped thousands of women transform their lives. Veronica believes that alcohol is only a symptom of a deeper underlying problem, and that to recover, thrive and become the women we are truly meant to be, we need to embrace the process of change.

Now based in the USA, she works with women all over the world through her online programs, Facebook groups and one-on-one or group coaching. Veronica is married and lives on Long Island with her husband and two sons.

Tamara Kirby has helped hundreds of people recover from active addiction as a licensed addictions counselor and international certified drug and alcohol counselor. She uses her own recovery as well as her clinical skills and education to lead the path in stigma reduction, raise community awareness, and educate businesses. She has opened and maintained the development of two addiction treatment programs in the past five years. Currently, she is a treatment consultant with the Indiana Center for Recovery and Haven Behavioral Health as well as the community manager at Soberful Life.

Tiffany North is an intuitive eating coach and a registered nurse who healed her own relationship with food and then went on to coach clients to do the same. Intuitive eating is not a diet. It is a way of relating to food and your body that supports you and brings back joy, balance, and satisfaction with food. Tiffany leads monthly intuitive coaching sessions inside Soberful Life.

Yulonda Ross is a Licensed and Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC and ICADC), and is in the process of becoming an empowerment life coach.

With a Master’s degree in addiction studies and a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, she has been in the field of substance abuse for 14 years. Yulonda was called to the field because she lived with someone who had an addiction and has family members still struggling with alcoholism and other addictions.

Mimi Devine-Touhey, MSN, FNP, CPC, SRCD is a certified professional life and recovery coach who is passionate about helping women rediscover their life path and recover from substance use disorders and other addictive behaviors.

She is knowledgeable about all avenues of recovery and believes that every individual needs to put together their own patchwork of support. She leverages her 25 years as a family nurse practitioner, supporting and counseling her patients with substance use disorders, food challenges, and chronic disease management.

She has a particular interest in treating women during perimenopause and menopause and spent six years focusing on and treating women with sexual health concerns. She is an EFT (emotional freedom technique) practitioner. Mimi has been in recovery from alcohol addiction for 15 years.

Frequently Asked Questions

Group coaching is a very effective way to achieve transformational growth. We often feel that we are alone and cannot see a clear way to move forward. In reality, the challenges we struggle with are actually very common. This group will be hand-picked to ensure it is a safe supportive space. Guided and supported by Veronica, Tamara, Mimi, Yulonda, and Tiffany, who will ensure you gain the tools you need to grow and change. Group coaching is much more affordable than individual coaching.

The group coaching calls will be recorded and available to view for about 7 days. This is to ensure that everyone stays up to date if they happen to miss a session.

If you are here reading this now, it’s because you have followed Veronica’s work with Soberful. You know our experience and qualifications (see above). You will also know that we are qualified and experienced professionals. You may have also been searching for a while and may have tried different things to enhance your sobriety that didn’t help as much as you wanted them to. If you have the willingness, then we have tools and experience to move you forward.

Before signing up for this program we encourage you to do due diligence and research the facilitators so you can feel confident in their skills and abilities. We limit the numbers of this program so when someone commits we hold them to that commitment and have a non-refundable policy.
